Dr. Ney & Dr. Ozge have presented at numerous national and international meetings and have had their findings published in peer-reviewed journals such as The American Journal of Orthodontics, Progress in Orthodontics, Seminars in Orthodontics and Korean Journal of Orthodontics. Their research focus has been establishing protocols for orthopedic corrections with Maxillary Skeletal Expander, improving the airway for patients with nasal obstruction, creating digital planning tool for patients who have constricted maxilla. Our doctors have been one of the few providers of MSE expander for both children and adult patients who may suffer from airway restrictions. Their research projects have been awarded by the American Association of Orthodontists at research competition.
Some of their publications are listed below:
- Non-surgical management of extreme vertical problems with micro-implants
- Pattern of microimplant displacement during maxillary skeletal expander treatment: A cone-beam computed tomography study
- Long-term effects of maxillary skeletal expander treatment on functional breathing
- An assessment of the magnitude, parallelism, and asymmetry of micro-implant-assisted rapid maxillary expansion in non-growing patients
